Using all mouse buttons in Ubuntu 10.10 Rate Topic: -----

Hi!

I got ubuntu 10.10 and a brand new Fightmouse Pro from revoltec.
All buttons are working (MOUSE 1, 2, Scrollwheel and turn Scrollwheel left and right), but the buttons at the thumb do not work in UrT.

Though, I can use them in the browser as back and forward buttons.

Has anybody an idea?

If they work when browsing then the configuration on the system should be ok. What options did you try to add on URT to this buttons?

I do believe that a standard UrT install doesn't understand mouse4 and mouse5

I'll suggest that you'ld use Mitsubishis optimized build. It has several extra features, where support for mouse button 4 and 5 is one of them.

I'm not sure about UrT on Linux, since I'm only using it for few programs through my virtual machine, but it's worth a try.
