A few things you need to pay attention to when you 'migrate' from your current 'UrT in Wine setup' to 'UrT in Linux with native binary'.
- Choose which version of ioUrbanTerror you want, based on your Linux installation: 32-bits or 64-bits?
- Copy the file ioUrbanTerror.i386 or ioUrbanTerror.x86_64 to the folder where your current ioUrbanTerror.exe resides
- Give the file ioUrbanTerror.i386 or ioUrbanTerror.x86_64 an executable flag
- All your "user settings and data" (maps downloaded from auto-download, screenshots, demos, videos, etc..) when using the native Linux version now goes into the folder ~/.q3a/q3ut4. See also the FAQ D.6 and D.7
- See also this sticky thread in Linux support section for specific Linux issues and fixes
