Hi guys!
There are a lot of times i get kicked out cause my ping is claimed to be too high( or i could't play because it was lag like in the hell). It's make me sometime want to quit urban terror. So i am trying to find some solution to make my ping lower. I hope that somebody 'll give me a detail guide for this problem.

There are a few options. The easiest is to play on servers closer to where you live.
Aside from that you can:
- Make sure nothing else is using your net connection while you play, especially torrents
- Run Game Booster, it can shave off a few ms
- Get a better network card/motherboard to shave off a few more ms
- Contact your ISP and ask them to disable interleaving for your internet connection (can cause instability depending on circumstances, though), that can lower ping by 10-20ms typically

Just FYI: There is inconsistency between the true ping(reported in the ping meter with fps) and the ping shown on the scoreboard. The ping on the scoreboard is incorrect. You can see this by setting maxpackets to 30, then 42, then(if you have sacc) to 125. You will notice that the ping meter stays the same, but the scoreboard gradually increases as you increase maxpackets. The scoreboard is incorrect, the ping meter should be accurate.

Your ping is a measure of how many milliseconds information takes to travel between you and the server, so software is very limited in its ability to help with that. It is mostly governed by hardware.

Set the right MTU settings and RWin settings when it comes to your router and stuff, also close any applications you have while running urban terror (especially applications which hog bandwidth)

I will help you.
Here i will give some solutions to lower your ping.
1.Don't open any videos, stream and check if there any problem in your router.
2.Make sure there's no browser .exe's still running in task manager
3.Try to contact your internet service provider and get suitable data plan.
4.Use any software like Game Booster
Personally i use Game Booster program. My ping also reduced.I checked my ping whether it's decreased or not using Whoisxy.com
