High Hi All! :cool:

I introduce my first(released) map, named Sima.
The concept is a misc urban scenery, tranquil mood at nighttime (with softly sparse gunshots. :P)

* supported gamemodes: FFA,TDM,TS,FTL,CAH,CTF & Bomb
* underdrain/basement are closed in TeamSurvivor mode


UPDATE: Beta2 !
(some bugfixes and less reddish feeling :laugh: )

That red moon is kinda of taking it over the top. Why red if you want to create a tranquil scenery. I'd go with blue and definitely add quite a few colored lights outside to break the monotony.

Nice eye candy.Haven't played it yet though,will post some feed back later.

As for the red to blue theme,going from the map's name,red seems more appropriate.Although there's nothing wrong with a duotone map

If you want to put that much glass in a map please invest the time in writing a good glass shader. :blink:

Looks modern, but realistic.. and i agree to xandaxs. If you look into the game Mirror's Edge then you see that nearly everything is based on red - white(silver) - grey(blue). Please do some searching and also get some good ideas of how to texture your map.

Tip:

I should use red for making things much more strikingly, and grey/blue/silver/white for the background brushes, windows, doors etc... But in this:Posted Image picture. You use a lot of red what makes it very boring if you scale the use grey color up and mix it with other colors you use in your mapping but not red. than it will look much better.

(sorry for bad explanation but it's hard to describe)

No u right, too strong red everywhere coz too dark colored lights spraying' from the sky (realistic? maybe the darkness almost, but the color isnt..) Im working on the problem.

And thx to all for feedbacks, im thinking now how corrigible this anomalies in up.
