so I'm getting alot of connection lag when i play. Movement is very jaggity, strafing back and forth, forward and back, and mouse movement is very inconsistent. It's kind of difficult to describe. Ever used a really old track ball mouse that hasn't been cleaned out in a while, so the ball is covered in dust? which makes it difficult to accurately click on stuff. That's what it's like with mouse movement in game, as well as keyboard movement. Its better in some areas in others, presumably worse in areas that are further away.
It wasn't very bad when I first played, but it has gotten worse.

What ISP do you use?
WiFi or Ethernet cable?
IE, Safari, Fire Fox, Google Chrome, or Opera running in the background?
Norton Antivirus updating?
Internet based programs running in back ground?
There are a lot of things that can cause connection lag, it could also just be an unstable connection.
/rate 25000 may help

you mean the company I use for internet? I use Suddenlink if thats what you mean by isp. I use an Ethernet Cable, the browser I use Primarily is Opera, but I always close out other programs before running a game. I don't have any automatic scanning enabled, and I don't have a virus software atm, aside from Malwarebytes Antimalware, which I scan once every week or two. I do use uTorrent, but again, I usually close it out before playing any games. Also my internet speed is 10mbps cable connection.
What does /rate 25000 do?

This means you're capable of sending ~25 kb/sec of data to a server. You can type '/rate' first to see what it's set to before any changes.
The best thing to do would be posting a screenshot of your lagometer so we can have a better idea of what's going on.
I would recommend changing your sensitivity, but if keyboard movement is suffering as well,it's most likely network based, rather than hardware
(Alright!Another Opera user)
