Ok, I can run Urbanterror just fine, but once I get to the main menu. and click anything. (i.g. Play online or Setup) it just force quits the client. [my computer remains the same]
I realized something when I changed my name with the console. To whatever it is, it gives me two lines:

"Couldn't right q3History" and
"Couldn't right q3Config.cfg"

I don't understand, it makes me think a file is missing. But I never deleted a file in my Urbanterror folder/subfolders.
I don't wanna reinstall urt. because I have like 3 times before. and it takes my patience away, and it each time I did, it didn't change anything in my client.
So, help if you can.

As you didn't specified what Operating System you are running. The generic answer would be:

You don't have the proper (write) permission in the folder in which you have UrbanTerror located in (Windows), or where UrbanTerror tries to write it's configs to (Linux/MacOSX).

I am on a OS X [Mac]
But, I remember something about writing posessions, but don't remember where it can be changed.

- Open Applications>Utilties>Terminal(.app)
- Type "cd " Thats cd and a space dont hit enter yet
- Drag+drop your iourbanterror.app into it.(not an alias or the UrT folder)
- It should put the path of your .app in there. Press enter.
- Copy/paste into the terminal:
chmod +x Contents/MacOS/ioUrbanTerror.ub

- Hit enter.
- Launch Game.

should look like that (assuming that you installed UrT in Applications folder)
jon566:~ jon566$ cd /Applications/UrbanTerror/ioUrbanTerror.app
jon566:ioUrbanTerror.app jon566$ chmod +x Contents/MacOS/ioUrbanTerror.ub

You'll probably have to does what OlympicSmoker posted, but chmod +w /Library/Application Support/Quake3/q3ut4/ instead.
That's where the configuration files of UrbanTerror are stored and hence need write permissions.

JUSTIN$ cd /Users/JUSTIN/Downloads/UrbanTerror/ioUrbanTerror.app
mark-houghsmacbook-pro:ioUrbanTerror.app JUSTIN$ chmod +w /Library/ApplicationSupport/Quake3/q3ut4/
chmod: /Library/ApplicationSupport/Quake3/q3ut4/: No such file or directory
UserName'smacbook-pro:ioUrbanTerror.app JUSTIN$

is what I have, go through it and see if done correctly. My urbanterror is not in my applications folder though, but it has always worked [out of it]
Notice "No such file or directory" and "UserName's" for privacy.

I'd guess that if the app's permissions are wrong then it will not be able to create the Quake3/q3ut4/ folder
All seem good except that its chmod +x

Well if it's not going to work. Is there anyway to get rid of all history of the Game and files from my computer, then downloading it once again?
This would be the best solution

Should be this:
chmod +wx ~/Library/Application\ Support/Quake3/q3ut4/
Note the tilde at the start, because Q3 is in your user directory, and the \ which escapes the space. This should work nicely for you, if R/W is the problem.
