I'm a developer and after updating my main machine to 10.8 DP4 I found that UrT no longer works, it crashes after blanking out the screen with these messages (no crash report is being generated):

6/17/12 10:46:07.062 AM ioUrbanTerror.ub[817]: CPSGetCurrentProcess(): This call is deprecated and should not be called anymore.

10.8 will be released next month and given the relatively high number of OS X players this might become a big issue.

10.7 never worked off the bat for a lot of people and it was fixed relatively fast, so I see no need to worry, but its still good that you reported this, now FS as prior notice :)

We'll have a new 4.2 client by then also. We're dropping support for 10.4 and lower though. Only 10.5 (included) and newer supported (i586 only, no ppc .. bye bye universal binaries).

4.2 crashes again right on startup on Mountain Lion for me. When I build the latest libSDL myself and replace the dylib in the bundle, the game runs but crashes when clicking a menu item. Is this an issue with 4.2 on 10.8 or am I an isolated case?

+1 me.

UrT 4.1 is crashing a lot on OS X 10.8. Mostly when map is loading. If i download map manually and copy it to folder with other maps, the game crashes whenever I press anything in menu.

UrT 4.2 is not launching at all. It shows the name of a app in menu and then it turns itself off. There is also no message in logs (Console.app).

Hmm.. Erasing / Renaming Quake3 folder in ~/Library/Application Support helped. After that 4.2 launched without any issues. I didnt test 4.1 coz im still playing 4.2 :D
