So once I got urban terror 4.2 in my game, i ended up losing all of my history on servers. Such as kills, deaths, etc, including adminship on servers. Can anyone help me fix this?

copy over the qkey from 4.1 to 4.2

I only have one q3ut4 folder though? and im on mac btw.
I went to ~/Library/Application Support/ Quake3(Only on folder)/

I have my qkey in the quake3 folder but I also have my authkey in the q3ut4 folder.... Im really confused.....

the authkey is 4.2 if you open it and past your authkey into it you will be loged in. it might be the fact that its a new server? idk if you can play 4.1 servers in 4.2.

Idk what to do with my qkey and such. everything for 4.1 and 4.2 are in one folder

1 I have urt4.1 install in programfiles86, and urt4.2 in programfiles (64) (dunno about mac). You need to install both in another directory. Urt is a portable game, if you installed it in a wrong directory, then just move the folder to another directory.
In your case where all 4.1 and 4.1 files are in one folder, u need to cut/paste manually the files to another folder. Or completely reinstall 4.1 and 4.2 on the correct way.

2 The 4.1 Qkey wont work in urt4.2 yet, but will work in update: save the qkey for later.

well, I got the same problem for the q3ut4 folder… and it sucks, as I play both versions.

@Driller: you can't "install" them in different directories… as they access all ~/Library/Application Support/Quake3
which is the same for 4.1 AND 4.2! I am not sure where or if I can fix that, but I will try.
Else I had to put out all my maps out of the folder to make 4.2 working… seems like there is a conflict somewhere :/
but I had similar issues with too much files in the q3ut4 folder in 4.1.1 before…

Hi,
the problem is the 4.2 that set cl_guidServerUniq "0" in q3config.cfg. You can set cl_guidServerUniq "1" and qkey works fine. I pasted seta cl_guidServerUniq "1" in my autoexec.cfg on my 4.1 installation.
