Hi,
I'm adapting my own management script for URT from version 4.1 to 4.2.
I noticed in the past with version 4.1, when issuing the "dumpuser <n>" command, the team which the user was on at that moment would be shown.
This doesn't seem to be the case in 4.2. Was it removed on purpose, or am I missing something?
Is there a replacement command to determine which team the user is on? (red/blue/spec)
Regards,
Dr.Mabuse

I believe the team info is only available on "Clientuserinfochanged" log lines.
Using rcon you can get the players teams by querying the two cvars g_blueteamlist and g_redteamlist

O.M.F.G.!
I'm developing a bot from 2010 without knowing these two variables
where did you found it? Is there a list somewhere?

you should run these two commands some day :
;)
Note that the two cvars g_blueteamlist and g_redteamlist will only show up on the cvarlist response if your server is on a gametype with teams and if there are at least a player who joined a team.
Also I recommand you read http://www.urbanterr..._g_blueteamlist

Thanks!
I already knew and used cmdlist, but never cvarlist.
In any case I keep trace of players directly from log. I guess it is not useful to change a lot of code lines in order to use g_xxxteamlist instead.
The problem is only at bot start, when game situation is unknown until first map loading. Even using g_xxxteamlist you can know how many players are in red, blue or spect, but not who is where, until a clientuserinfochange or a new map will arrive. So I guess that start problem remain unsolved.
I don't know if some cvar or command exists like "tell me if player slot xx is in red or blue team".
Sry, I'm going OOT.
