Hi,
i use XQF to brwose servers, i havent changed anything to the master servers,
It seems to me that there are some servers missing, right now there are 8 servers with players on them,
Does the ID Master handle all games, or are there any left over gamespy and whatever?
Beside ID i have Barrysworld and Gameholic, both dont give me any servers, So, has anyone some more Master adresses for me , if yes than please write down the type. like http etc..

thx

the type you want to choose is 'standard'.

why some servers arent showing up is because they dont report to master.urbanterror.net while monster.idsoftware.com is built in. complain to the admins running those server ;)

this is slightly off topic but may help people that search the archives.

I've found out that at least on my system (debian unstable current) even without any /home config in advance, xqf won't accept a new master server addition and would crash. other functions wouldn't crash it.

so, the solution I've found to the problem was to edit ~/.qf/config manually.

thx for the infos.
Gives me a better feeling, no fear to miss something now ;).

For me it worked just to insert the new ones into the running XQF.

it wont crash if you explicitly check the 'standard' box ;)

I guess that was a solution but unfortunately I can't try it, since debian unstable updated itself so much since when I had the problem, now it won't crash it anything I try lol
