So I've been getting these really annoying "black bars" on the netgraph lately that pretty much don't let me move properly. I play on a laptop and I'm connected wirelessly because theres another computer in my house which is connected to the router by the cable. If I connected this laptop to the router with the cable and the other one wirelessly, would the connection on this one be fine? Well it is generaly fine when I'm not playing online, but when playing it becomes a nightmare.

I have all kinds of wireless gadgets (repeater and signal-booster) and setups between my garage and house to try and get everything as smooth as possible.
Basically, everything seems super fast and awesome until I play UrT.

All my downloads, streaming videos; every other online game runs smoothly. But not Urban Terror.
Urban Terror gets black bars and nastiness in my network unless it's wired.
I can play peek-a-shoot with an SR8, but if I want to actually play the game wireless is just not clean enough.

(sometimes you can get an additional rebate from hawking, I ended up paying $20 total in the end)

but in the end, I'm either pissed off every match or I'm plugged into the router.

I had similar issues until I changed my router.
I got a DLINK DIR-655 for a cheap price.

I setup the config to prioritize the ports used by UrT.

I have 3 laptops, 1 iphone, 1 android, 2 ipod touch.

I can play UrT just fine, unless someone is Spyping with video at the same time.
