have you tried 4.2?
Anyway the map is built against 4.1.1 resources, so it should have all the textures. i have no problems on any of my 3 urt version.
Friend (only one) of mine had some, while others did not.
Does not seem to be the map's fault imo.

Can't hit... Demo

no geometry or anything else there indicates that such could happen. Additionally it appears that there are some other strange happenings (like nearly everybody has a blue arrow on the minimap)
Again - does not seem to be the maps fault.
Some ideas:
- Is your server modded?
- Try redownloading the .pk3
- Try an older version (since i didn't release a newer one so far)

Would be glad if someone else (with a bit more knowledge about (modded) servers and mapping could watch the demo and share his thoughts.

(demo relink)

Yes I think it's probably a modded server allowing ghosting of some kind and the owner/rcon admin having a bit of fun with it. Definitely not something that can be caused by a map.
Also to the note: 4.1.1 has the extra pk3 of textures so to be sure you need to test against 4.1 not 4.1.1 because they quite often will get missing textures if you use default stuff. I know cause that's what happened with my map.
Good map though :)

afaik (lol. i should know, shouldnt i....) i didn't use any textures/shaders drom the zpak001_assets.pk3.
And the friend, who experienced the missing textures problem had a 4.1.1 though...
I will recheck it.

Thanks for the reply :)

Well check if you have any non-default maps in your mapping folder because whether they are in the pk3 or you put them into the folders (textures/sripts/maps etc) the textures of that map will show up in radiant which is of course why to always use another folder for mapping so you don't have any conflicts.
(You may know this already but just incase )
:D

nah. i did a clean 'install' (call it unpack for 4.1.1) for my mapping installation. no third party files in it (well, i added things like models/shaders, but the ones i use, i directly include into the packing dir, so i dont forget about them. Anyway, i do my testing on another installation....

Old Town alpha 05 is here!

There are two new areas (behind the red and blue spawn) and changed lightning.
Also fixed the water in the pipes.
Next release will probably be a beta.

sure. but i would rather close it in SV / BOMB
i already closed the areas 'behind' the spawns (building ground, residentials; playground, factory) in SV / BOMB / FTL

I like the map, IMHO the market place area has quite some potential game play wise with all it's open directions (reminds a bit of casa in that regard).

Some issues I saw:

Z-Index fighting on the decals on the floor:

The glass is almost non-detectable; I didn't realize it at first that I was running against glass because visually they're so hard to see. I'd suggest to make them more visible:

Still some lighting issue, like the wall here. In general I think the map, although you clearly set out for dawn, has too dark areas like this one. Maybe it's possible to use more lighting but with colors to create a certain mood?

The handrail look nice but the blocking effect it has on movement hinders gameplay IMHO. Maybe it's not necessary and the whole of the hallway can be used to give entry to the sewer here:

The water in the sewers seems to have it's own light. Also, I think having just that black dark there's doesn't fit well; maybe all tunnels should have a led-strip attached to their ceilings or something:

Are you still planning on doing an update?
