Works here.
I did notice that the screen resolutions are handled a bit differently as it seems osx has taken to video card scaling modes which does weird things (like 1440x900 on a native 1920x1080 screen will show a black unused part of the screen on the right as opposed to stretching over the entire screen). Mind you I just upgraded from snow leopard 2 hours ago so this might have been changed in one of the lion-osx's, but I couldn't say.

Well thats good for you but mine just wont load.

I too am revisiting urban terror after a 2 years. I have mavericks and I ran it from the package>Contents>MacOS>Quake3-UrT.i386 and here is the log:

I tried changing my resolution in the System Preferences, but that didn't seem to fix it for me. This was working for me after upgrading to Mavericks. It only stopped launching yesterday. Updater gives several errors as well:
1) On launch says: Could not create the assets folder (q3ut4). Please verify the user rights of this folder.
You can ask for help on the official website
2) After "Download" Button it says: The downloaded file is corrupted. Please check your internet connection and launch again the Updater.
