You cannot fly in Bad Company 2, and if you take three jumps in Urban Terror it's hard not to.
This video is the greatest example of how ADS slows a game down and drastically.
Urban Terror is played as a human-autoshoot that is always 100% deadly.
I'm not against people having the option to hit a button and drop to 80fov with a big visual gun obstruction and moving at a crawl, so long as it doesn't lower the accuracy of the weapons we have now as "hip fire".
I've heard rumors that moving lowers the accuracy of weapons, and other than the SR8 I'm not sure this is even true.
Urban Terror is played with the feet at least as much as the gun, and forcing ADS for weapon effectiveness wouldn't just slow the game down, but pretty well destroy the entire movement dynamic of combat. You want to move faster in Urban Terror not slower.
It simply isn't an ADS kind of game.
If you want ADS in Urban Terror, play at 110fov and bind a button to 90fov and walk together. You can even change your cg_drawcrosshair to 5 and cg_crosshairsize to 90 and maybe even a metallic shade of grey if the gun metal is what you need.
