Alright so I have this weird problem that annoys me a bit:

I need a very low sentivity so that I don't deviate too much from my target and I want to put some muscular effort in my aim.

So if for example I set my sensitivity to 1.65, it's good.

But then, three weeks later, it doesn't feel the same anymore! It feels like it's very high.

I have a simple logitech mouse for desktops and I don't know anything about the DPI's and stuff like that (never set up anything).

Can anyone help me to stop having this feeling please?

Is it because I play quakelive and I don't have the same sensitivity than in UrT ?

Thanks!

Well sure, do an average of both and deal with it. It's normal you have to adapt each time you switch if there's different sensitivity, or different aspect ratio, FOV; Or level of stress.

If you don't have technical problems with your mouse you don't have to care about DPI. I had to switch to a different model because of two different problems linked to the DPI fork the mouse was in fact accepting and the captor technology. If you don't have these problems then dpi are just a psychological marker.

In the official Urban Terror executable of 4.2, you can switch on quake-live style mouse acceleration by setting cl_mouseAccelStyle CVAR to 1. Then you can tweak it by using the cl_mouseAccel and cl_mouseAccelOffset CVARS.
