Crash on load

I'm trying to run UrT 4.2.0.17 on my iMac but it's crashing.
Running from terminal, I get it:

I've a MacBook Pro and a Mac Mini and both runs correctly. Somebody had same problem?

check this thread
maybe change your resolution settings in your q3config.cfg ..
additionally: urt 4.1.018 has been released already... surely using .017 won't cause those problems but running the latest release never is a bad idea

did you change your resolution settings in your q3config.cfg before running the game again?

Hello.
I'm also a Mac user, using 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) on Intel.
UrT crashes when I start a server and the client connects to it. Running it from the shell, I get the following output. Note what appears to be a garbage string after "Server:" in the Server Initialization section. Further down, UrT tries to load this as a map (maps/<garbage>.bsp), and fails, hence the exit.
The exact bytes of the garbage string are: 64 b7 03
I have installed the game under my home dir. Owner+permissions seem to be fine.
