hello,

i have been using my name when i first started playing urt and occasionally there are some people who think it's funny to copy another player by using his/ her name.. back in 4.1 there was no way to prevent those idiots from doing so ... but with auth login in place i hope you can help me out here..

there have already been some mix-ups happening and i would like this to end as soon as possible..

please deactivate or delete this guy's account..

This seems to be the latest trend in trolling on UrT...

Wikipedia has a system that doesn't allow self-registration of "similar" names. If you really want a name that's too similar to someone else's, you have to send a special request for account creation. No idea how difficult it would be to implement such a system, but it might be worth it.

the wikipedia system sounds great.. could you do that? why don't you try to join fs? : )

i even met the guy on casatown.. he told me he was sorry (lol) he accidently registered that name and now he can't create a new account, i told him to go to the forums and ask for his account to be deleted .. he said he would do that... which was obviously bs...

well known multi account creator, been watching them over at my own systems, and have banned all their accounts on my own servers. Clearly a member up to no good.

However it will require FS intervention before the player can be stopped elsewhere.
