You've answered the question yourself, they're mostly playing 4.2 ...

We officially stopped the support of this version on January 1st, 2014. 4.1 is past now. :)

There is a server with ONLY real player. "Urban Terror for Terrorists"
That's where I play all the time. And there are really friendly people.
I actually only play 4.1, because I don't like 4.2. The animations look really stupid
if you ask me. And I'm still waiting for a Team-Voice chat...

I totally agree that YOUR animations are quite better, it's unfortunate that FS doesn't have you in their team! :/
