A tutorial map.

Pretty simple so far.
Leave comments/ideas/credit-card numbers below.

no light/vis built so far
no detail at the jumping area
pretty rough, lacking many more or less important stuff

Nice job
some feedback and bugs, you asked for it :P

-at the intial spawn you slide out too much, so the bigtext changes very fast,
maybe drag the spawn back a little bit.
the same for the initial jump part spawn.

-in the jumping area, where you fall off the pillar and break your legs, you can fall off too fast, so fast that the bigtext again changes very quickly
maybe add a curve to that

-minor:
"You can crouch (DefUAlt C)"
some z-fighting at the wall that moves up at the jump part
the bigtext in the shooting area changes rapidly and randomly, maybe start this part in a tunnel.
the respawn in the shooting area requires you to move

-"stamina regenerates over time"
maybe add a longer passage where you suggest jumping, maybe in this style:

This map has very basic jumps wich get harder the further to the left you start.

-suggest: console opening, visiting this site

already fixed the respawns. the bigtexts are a bit of a problem. imifht have to add one way passages. but you are right about the teleporters/slide changing them too fast.

and omg yeah. i forgot circle jumping....
oh well. fhe jumping part is a bit of a joke though (i mean themjumps are pretty easy if you played urt before.


i also planned to add bots to the shooting part (which would require it to be tdm or something like that) but how do i make sure the player joins the correct team then......

auto-autojoin, ive never seen it, but apparently it exists.
this would require an own config for the map.
(But if FrozenSand would use this, would they allow bots?)

-you can also have some weapons spawning in.
(i can only think of ways how that would help a pro, but maybe someone else can figure something)

-Maybe add the ability to go back and restart from the end.

-add a kill trigger for easy respawn


-this is a dumb idea:
add a couple "tunnels of explanation"
dedicated to one topic
where you get a short instruction, a door opens and you trigger the next one.
like one titled "console"
>you open your console with "shift+esc"
>in the console you can execute basic commands
>...

tl,dr: this is a wierd idea

This is really good! Just needs a little fine tuning, but it's a great interactive tutorial.
