Hi,

There are a few problems I noticed after installing urban terror successfully on my XPS l502x (a laptop ubuntu hates).
  • About pasting information from my clipboard into my console, it doesn't work.
  • Eventually I also got a problem with my mouse after minimizing, my urban terror screen, it won't make it possible to move my mouse but of course I still can navigate with my keyboard.
  • As last I've experienced a bug what is pretty funny but also pretty weird, if I stand at a specific location and view for example a wall from there than it would split a polygon on that wall and give me some kind of wall hack.

You need xclip
sudo apt-get install xclip

I don't get this on KDE, maybe it is specific to Unity.

Also something I've never gotten. Are you using the intel graphics or have you got a dedicated card set up? If it's nvidia graphics are you using bumblebee? I would look into setting up graphics if you haven't already and see if this improves things.

Yes I've bumblebee installed. But I can't find out where to look.

Unity is what Ubuntu uses for its desktop these days. I use a 'flavour' (Kubuntu) and this seems to alt + tab fine, or it might be your graphics card again.

An easy way to get your graphics card information is to type
\gfxinfo

into the in-game console. You can then dump the console output to a file eg. gfxinfo.txt with
\condump gfxinfo.txt

The text file will show up in $HOME/.q3a

The solution have been found:

// Leave URT window
Open console (~)
CTRL + ALT + ENTER

// Open URT window
CTRL + ALT + ENTER
Close console (~)
