what is the grab max jump based off of? I'm pretty sure if I get a running start 2 jumps will take me higher then that.

I don't think too many of people know this technique. Let's assume your brush is between 114.625 qu and 118.750 qu high, which means when you stand in front of it and jump you can't grab the top to pull yourself up. However, you can still grab it if you stand in front of the brush, jump up and when you reach the highest point jump again, which is basically a walljump on the brush you're trying to grab. You won't make a jump off the wall but grab the brush that was too high for you to reach otherwise.

Your jump height has nothing to do with your speed you currently have (unless you're jumping up a slanted brush).

there is a measurements tool that can be inserted into radiant i believe it was made by johnny english im not sure he made a youtube video also explaing the difrent fuctional entities like doors and such.

I think it was nemnemnem who made the video and definitions. I have a couple of these; you will probably need to right click, save links as:

Nemnemnems definitions
Other measurement definitions
Dels item drop definitions

Put them in your mapping/scripts folder and restart radiant. Hope this helps

Oh :D No it was this video this tool for measure is very nice!!! also nice tutorial on all func entities and sounds and such <3

Thanks for your replay johnny i will test those definitions on my next map.

Tiny correction: The "walk off hurt" height is actually 200.125 qu instead of 200.000 qu

yep and the fallnohurt also still breaks you legs..
