Currently I am using a mouse pad on a laptop and reloading is very hefty when I have to aim and move using a cheap mouse pad where right and left clicking is hard to do because of the silly non obvious buttons and Reloading can become quite hefty when I have to do all that as well so I would like a auto reload script or something like that so UT is slightly more playable for me.

P.S. If this classifies as cheating I will not ask about it anymore.

It is not possible via script to have auto reload.

You could do a script for your weapon to reload after having shot "x" bullets, x being the number of ammo the weapon has. But weapons don't all have the same ammo etc.

This would either imply a recursive use of +vstr or a semi auto mode forced. (to allow the script 'count' the bullets fired)

But it definitely would work. thought it might bug in several situations, require high fps, about 40 cvars and having thought of multiple ways of exiting it and stuff.

Maybe a an "autoreload on an empty mag" feature for HD would be a more or less good idea. For sure you would have to be able to disable it.
Sorry for my bad spelling - I am still asleep. :)

Just a quick question? why wasn't auto reload implemented to begin with- was it for realism

Players were against stuff that replaces skill, even if its little things like these.
