Well for the past couple days i've been having an issue with downloading maps, now first obvious choice is to check if auto-download is on,maybe it had gotten turned off. The thing is, it was switched to "enabled" . Not a server issue either because it happens to jump servers to Frag servers. As for my client, my client is a default client, i don't prefer to screw with anything on my client end since something can be deemed as "cheating". Any advice would be nice to at least try to fix my issue.

update: My urbanterror client now wont even start up urban terror, it will freeze when the screen has the urban terror logo then stop.

try removing a couple of custom maps from your q3ut4 folder.. my urt crash/behave when i have more than 240 items or so in that folder
its located in HD/Users/YourUserName/Library/ApplicationSupport/Quake3/q3ut4

i just replaced my .018 update with a newer version and it fixed it.
