Why am I having a map download error when a new map comes up and it won't fully download?

Does this happen on every server? Can you download maps using a browser?
If you only play on one particular server the most likely reason is that the download source is having problems. Contact the server admins to let them know.

yes it happens on any server.Unfortunately I am dealing with win 8.1

This is another reason I refuse to update to 8.1. that and I can't update my Win 8 laptop because it fails to bootup afterwards and I have to factory reset it every time. Its happened twice, so i said, f*** it.
