Hi; I created a dedicated server for my local network (LAN). I would like to know how can I add bots on the server. I've tried these methods:

But I have a return message on the console: "Unknown command" when trying to add the bots.
How can solve the problem? Use the version 4.2.022

The description is ok so far.....
An unknown command means you have a typo inside.
/addbot <type> <level> <team> <ping> <server nick> this is the description but with one error. <ping> is not right.
the better description is:
/addbot <type> <level> <team> <spanwntime in ms> <server nick>
type in console as example:
/addbot boa 5 red 3000 Kill3r
This means the bot "type boa" with the name Kill3r will spawn in the red team within 3000 ms and he has the level(strength) 5.

No. I typed correctly, but the error always happens. Now i know, i have to create a account rcon to can make settings on the server, and add bots. You know let me know how I create a password for the rcon, and how i make to use the password in the game console inside in the server?
I know I have to edit the file server_example.cfg, but do not know how do.

got it!!!I created a password in server_example.cfg file, in line "set rconpassword" in the console game e entered with the password running this command: set rconpassword "password".
I used the command "rcon botlist" to see available bots.
Ex.: /rcon addbot doom 5 blue 76 =lvl5=Urban
