A new map im working on now ut4_nuketown

Still working on it and have some questions;
Can i use the bomb beep sound in the map or is this against the rules?

Put the .map file in this also so you can take a look.
Do i have to change my map name to _beta because its not finished how does this work?

With shader files is it allowed to make my own shader files from looking at how other shaderfiles work and aplying them at my own textures?

Can i use E.T. models?

All assets in the game are fair play as long as you don’t modify them. You could cover an entire map with nothing but Casa textures and use Abbey and Turnpike sounds for ambience, and nobody would bat an eye.

Yes. Pretty sure that most mappers simply copy existing shaders and change the names and paths rather than actually learning the black magic that makes them tick:-P

Hi all,

Just Finished my updated b1 version for testing only!
If you downloaded any previous test versions pls delete them before use of this one.

Changes made:

Reduced pk3 filesize +/- 50%
Reduced tris count +/- 75 %
UN-Boxed the map (as far as possible)
Removed most models (Removed clutter)
Updated the ffa spawns
Added more cushions for bot deployment in ctf ts tdm etc.
