[hd#map] Favelas

Hello guys,
I'm creating this topic, in order to present you, my first project/map for urt hd.
I wanted to start with a simple map for practise, so i wanted to base this map in a old map layout, and start building it with a new enviroment/style.

Layout base: Dressing Room (map description)
Description of map: Based on Favelas (located in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil) Description of Favelas
Game modes: undefined (not sure, about which modes will be on urthd)
Suggested players: 2(1x1); 4(2x2); 8-10(public).

Map Construction Stages:
  • Some research about the map concept, pictures...
  • Dressing Room remake (only for practise purposes, and get an idea, about the map size)
  • Modify it, and rebuilt from scratch
  • Finnish it (Models, textures, lights...)
  • Realease

Video (this video, is a gameplay of cs:go in a map, based on favelas)

The original name and map, are the same as the project, but the project is not based on this map, the layout wont be the same neither.

First time, using unreal engine 4.
Started with real simple things, and after 2 hours, with a lot of tests... here's it:

This level has been done only for practise purpose and wont be able for download under any circumstance.

  • If i'm right, in world settings, i just have to change(VR) 1uu-100.0 which would be 1cm, right? If yes, isn't that the default settings?
  • I'm with a trouble, if i create a box brush, and then use the geometry editing, the brush settings dont update, they are allways the default (200x200x200cm) and if yes, isn't the box 2x2x2m? seems a little bit smaller then i though it was, but if i use the wall/door (startcontent) the door seems to be 2.01 to 2.05,probably, is right.
  • Sorry if i'm that noob, since it's the first time working with that eheheh. Anyway, would you guys (fs) provide to the community, some content for urt map makers?

This brings up an important question. What will happen when someone decides to port other games maps to urt?

Asking the owners of the map in the other game will properly be the solution to avoid copyright issues.
