It appears to have better penetration than PSG, PSG has 70 dmg with kevlar but FR1 has 78

Nihilist, I like both of your points. FR is not a viable weapon right now, and Magnum is soooo close to being a great option.
Whatever the FR fix is, faster fire rate needs to be a part of it.
Magnum is actually an effective ctf weapon in crowded servers, as it provides the best stopping power in one shot - great for removing a single threat while on the go. Shorten the recoil time, and it could be advantageous in other situations. Maybe increase limb damage as well, 17dmg for a slow gun with only 6 bullets is just cruel.

It would be great if this as a semi-automatic rifle. No spread when standing still and without telescopic sight... with the damage it does and reload is useless compared to the psg
