Hello everybody,

allthough Resurgance is in the make, I decided to make some changes to this map because i felt it's not complete garbage. I have to call it york_v4 because there where already three downloadable versions before, but actually I would just want to call this one york without any v behind it.

I hope this map is suitable for various gametypes and that it is fair in CTF for both teams.

Server owners can use this map offcourse if they want.

Snowzz can u help me with a thing? I don't remember how to set the gametypes and spawns of the map.

Right click on 2d window.

-info --> info_player_deatmach (Only need one, no need to set keys. It just seems necessary for testing the .bsp)

-info --> ut_spawn Copy this so a full server has enough spawning points. Press N to set the keys. Most important keys:

angle (the side spawning point is facing to. Click a number from the chart)
g_gametype (in notes you see wich number belongs to wich gametype)
team (red or blue)

I've just updated the map, so please download it again and delete the old one.

Now the map is smaller for Team Survivor and you can play Bomb.

Hi,

made a new version again and I hope its ok now.

Main changes:

-moved one spawn closer
-moved one flag
-two new 'pathways'
-bridge replaced by two windows (jump possible)

Hi,

I've seen my map being played on Lily CTF and realized I needed to create an extra pathway to have more dynamic.

Now you could take the flag entirely by going through the middle, without jumping.
I've also added an extra entrance/exit between the red spawn and the flag to keep attackers guessing.
And I've slightly moved the flag positions

btw: if you want to run the map with bots in ctf or ffa you'll need another file, otherwise the bots will get stuck in a certain area which I had to block off for tdm.

Hi all,

again a new version, as I saw version 6 was still not good enough.

The map is smaller now and the spawning points changed quite a lot.

I expect it's better for all gametypes now. But please let me know if you have a remark or thought.
