I just noticed that the 4.2.023 version does not show this "Your game is out of date" message when starting it. Even though i recall it being something along the lines of "run the updater" which wouldnt be helpfull in the current situation i guess.

The "version missmatch" error when joining works correctly and directs you to urbanterror.info to check your version though.
Sorry for my bad spelling - I am still asleep. :)

Hi asian player here (from HK),

Did the hit registration change from 4.2 to 4.3? It is impossible to actually hit anybody on high ping servers (say, 350 ping) whereas before it worked perfectly fine. It seems the client + server is not in sync. As of this point I'd have to shoot at where I anticipate where the player will be 350ms later, rather than actually aiming at the playermodel.

Oh yeah, right. Didn't think the, so called, 'server installer' would do the trick. I might be more hungover than I thought ^^

I tried a few minutes on a 240 ping server and everything felt (comparatively) great. Did you change any settings?

Is it intentionally that the Hit and Kill ID have been "re-used" and overwrite existing values from UrT4.2?


E.g. in UrT 4.2 Kill Event 42 was UT_MOD_GOOMBA, in UrT4.3 it is overwritten by UT_MOD_BENELLI and Goomba has got the new ID 48.
Same thing for UT_MOD_FRF1.

Hit Event UT_MOD_KNIFE_THROWN is moved to 30, and UT_MOD_P90 is overwriting the ID 25.
