4.3.1 crashing on launch Rate Topic: -----

I just updated to 4.3.1 on Mac OS 10.12 and now the game is crashing on launch, again, like it did with the initial 4.3 release.

Deleting Quake3-urt.app and running the updater again has fixed it.

How did you manage to run the updater? I have the same issue with this updater since the stone age. It never has worked for me.
I can't even make the patched q3.app working.

I use 10.11.6 (15G1004) El Capitan.
Do I need to update to Sierra?

Please delete this whole thread and next time you change the requirement for launching this beast of an awesome game use CAPITAL LETTERS LIKE "Upgrade OS to latest, otherwise you get knifed from behind111!!!!oneoneeleven"

I have OS Sierra 10.12.1 and the game crash on start. I deleted the hole old game...installed the new 4.3, the installed the updater and ran it and at last the fix for Sierra 10.12...still crashed...I get this log every time

Working :biggrin: Deleting Quake3-urt.app and running the updater again has fixed it. Like mentioned above.
