First you need Blender, the Head model from the character.

You need to align you model to the character mostly fun stuff is put on the head name it and include it in your map.

I don't know if there are any active mappers who ever made some fun stuff left but the best bet it to try youtube for actual tutorials since I never made any fun stuff myself.
