Great to see progress happening.
Something that caught my eye was the colorscheme of those screenshots. I can't help it but it looks off, kind of random. As if somebody took objects from various sources and decided to put them into one game. e.g. the hands of the modell compared to the background. Maybe it's too bright and oversaturated overall. Johnny's video in comparison looks way more urt than all the others above.
Not too big of an issue and maybe there's even some kind of explanation.

Well JE is using the Shooter example as a template to make maps which is a stand alone game that actually functions so yeah his stuff is planned maps for UrT but in a different game.
As well
The example shown are work in progress so the last thing to worry about is the overall lighting as during the build phase things are constantly changing that their is no point to doing perfect light set ups.
For example we just switched to forward rendering for all of our projects which means having to rebuild the working lighting set up just to see whats going on.
and as BK said
1st person hands is place holders for now as they will match up with the 3rd person player models. New models, new materials, and animations to be done.
