Hi,

I have recently being having a problem downloading maps in Ubuntu Linux in game. When a new map appears in a server (any server) if I do not have it in my saved maps it will not download and I am kicked out of the server. The error shown is

"Can not autodownload missing file(s) because the cURL library could not be loaded"

I then have to press next which then kicks me out of the server. If I play in windows I do not have this problem. I have downloaded maps in Windows and moved them into my Linux system and this sometimes works and sometimes does not. I prefer to play the game in Linux because for me it just seems to run and perform better with movement, health drain and hits.

Nitro has kindly given me a few pointers and suggestions but so far I am unable to rectify this, If anyone has had a similar problem or any ideas that could help please let me know as it is frustrating when I leave the server then cannot get back in due to the servers being full at popular times.

I recall there sometimes are problems with with libcurl not being found. First make sure you actually have libcurl on your system, then make sure its correctly set in the game.
