Hello Everyone.

I just receved my new MBP C2D 17" Apple computer =D

One problem.

I installed Quake III Arena and UrbanTerror 3.7 in MAC.
One problem.. I think I tried every button on this keyboard, none is for the console key...
So I cant get the console up..

My Question is:
Is it a option to change the Console key ? In windows I know its the key left from number 1. On my MAC it's not.
Or is it a really strange key? Please say what you think so I can try it all =D..

Im new @ mac and im using a swedish design on my keyboard. Thanks!

I dont know exactly but... in preferences check if keyboard shortcuts has ~~ used by other app. I will check it tomorrow.

It should be the ` or the ~. If you want to bind it to another key, you could do /bind x toggleconsole

my ~ key I reach by pressing: alt + ¨^... but the alt key compinations don't work when Q3 (URT) is running.... Baah..

Oh sorry, forgot to mention you should put it in your config-file with a text-editor Like the other binds that are inthere.

Edit: I just tested it, it doesnt work while you are in the menu's, but it does while ingame. Problem is that it will only open the console, not close it. Thats when I bound it to 'o'. Let's see how it goes with F4... Hmm, same problem... Maybe you can find a program that allows you to remap keyboard keys so you can make it so that when you press a key, your OS will think that it was the ~ key.

yeah okej, but isent there a commands like:
/bind x toggleconsole
and like, closeconsole
or something?

Not that easy to find that application, didn't find any by my google =S anyone? I want to be able playing urt

Toggleconsole should be able to open/close, but apparently it doesnt. Its hardcoded to ~ or ` it seems.

I'd just get a normal keyboard and keyboardlayout to be honest

if I recall correctly for international keyboards the console was moved to f13 or f 12 ...........................


Try thiose and also search the forums for it too .. We've delt with this before.

A Quick check back thru the forums.................. it IS f13 for international layout keyboards.
