This is my setup:
ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R100 QD [Radeon 7200] AGP
ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage Pro 215GP (rev 5c) PCI

I run dual displays, but anytime I enable dri/glx my X crashes at startup and takes down my keyboard and screen. I have to login over ssh and reboot. If I turn off my PCI Rage card in the config, it loads up and I can play quake, glxgears, etc. When I have dri/glx off I can use my dual setup fine. Is there a config option to enable dri/glx on just my AGP Radeon? I think the problem is that both cards use the "ati" driver, and it crashes trying to enable things on the Rage that it just won't do. This setup used to work with a Geforce instead of the Radeon, but the Radeon has better picture quality and is faster than my Geforce. Maybe I should find a non-ATi pci board, that could be easier. Any suggestions/insight welcome.

Do you use Xinerema for Dual-Screen setup?
AFAIK Xinerama is not supported while using DRI/3D-Acceleration (spelled right? :D).
Which drivers do you use? DRI? Gatos? Kernel-DRM? What kernel are you using?

*P.S.: Sorry for my bad english.

No, I don't use Xinerama. Each screen is it's own entity. I'm using DRI, which is enabled in the kernel as well. I'm running 2.6.5 at the moment.

I seem to remember hearing ati drivers having some problems with multiple screen setups, not too sure what since I know people running 2 screens with ati quite nicely.
