are there any settings client wise that i can have that make me hit better cuz atm where ever i play i seem to miss straint on shots with sr8 and so on..

I don't think such settings exist.

You should check your cvar rates and stuff like that though, to see if they correspond with your connection type. Also, make sure your fps are decent (70+), otherwise it's just plain hard to hit indeed.

My knowledge on how exactly isn't very useful, so maybe someone else can offer better help.

atm im using settings that look somting like this

seta com_maxfps "200"
seta com_hunkMegs "150"
seta snaps "20"
seta rate "11000" <- normaly use 25000

I don't think you settings are sooo bad, because at least you killed me way to often :P

Someone told me maxfps=76 ist the best value... but I don't know if this is right... depends on machine, connection and player I think.

Also with the SR8 remember there is movement penalty, so even if you think your shot was dead on, movement wasn't fully stopped, so your shot wasn't accurate.

there is no movement penalty with the sr8. only if your feet are off the gorund there is a penalty.
