why not just make a new .game file and corresponding folder?
urbanterror.game file and urbanterror.game folder
Here are the contents of q3.game. What needs to be changed so it'll work right?

---entities.ent
-*docs (has a buncha manuals)
-*missionpack

---entities-ta.ent
-default_build_menu.xml
-game.xlink
For those that now the ins and outs check out yours and lets see what we can come up with. This can make it a lot easier to get a mapper off the ground

ok I got started on urbanterror.game file but there is some stuff I need input on to finish. Please take a look at the post above and then at this as there is some stuff missing. I could guess and trial and error but its more efficient if someone knows a definitive answer. Mostly the specifics for linux and macos as well as everything from the maptypes entry to the end.

I'm a bit confused on the distribution of these. Can a FS member please clarify? Can I provide a download of these on desrat.com? of the necessary mapping files? to make it easier to get people into it?
Phantomas, look inside an older download of urt like 3.7/8 in the zzzpak (it is really a zip file just change suffix)
Oh and back to the topic anyone?

hey Zex, thanks for the input! im looking into what you made. ill post back here my comments.
And hey FS, maby you could put the *.def files and the new Q3map2 ver 20 or what ever the latest it in the download section for urbanterror.net or your site frozensand.com. localized mapping support would be nice to keep interest in your product.
