Hey guys, I'm looking for a little help with the video recording process.  Recently I was on a server with a hacker, and ended up speccing him and recording a demo of him being a noob.  I then found this thread and downloaded Nexu's file.  I had to change the button for start recording to f13, and stop recording to f16, since I'm on a mac, and in windowed mode, f11 triggers exposé, and f12 triggers dashboard.  Once I had done that, I played the demo, and pressed f13, and eventually f16, but nothing seemed to happen.  I can't find the video on my computer.

Does anyone have any idea as to what seems to be going on?

Files are saved to your user-dir on mac.

Something like /users/yourname/library/application support/quake3/q3ut4 ?

You should check or the key binding actually works on F13 - F16... like:

bind F13 "ut_echo F13 Key pressed"

If that works. If you press that key when you're in a game OR replaying a demo it should say "Key pressed" in top-left corner where normally the kill messages are.

Thank you guys, I found the file, and I got the recording working (with nexu's script).  Now the only problem I'm having is that there is a harsh white noise sound playing during playback.  Anyone know what's going on?

Excellent script, btw, Nexu. My only issue is whenever I try to record a demo, I either play terribly or can only find noobs to play with. Not too exciting.
