Getting urban terror on the debian/ubuntu package manager Rate Topic: -----

I noticed on my laptop Ubuntu's game section on the package manager had quite a few quake installers(providing you had the orginals). And even a q2 mod called alien arena, why can't we get urban terror on the list? It would be a good shot a doubling the player base.

I believe certain people are/were working on creating these packages and trying to get them added. I'm not sure of the current status.

I guess keeping it up to date would be the only real challenge, along with keeping a mirror up and running.

man, try "links" its a bit easyer from command prompt, dont know if ubuntu comes with it though, but its an easyer to use command prompt browser.

they have this version that even shows images in console with framebuffer.

edit: (a completely unnecessary nerdy hack on a modern pc:P)
