We at Urban Zone have decided to bring you our first Summer Cup to provide you all with an opportunity to play during the summer – to play as much or as little as vacations, breaks and general summer player attitude allow.

This is a challenge cup similar to the system adopted by Clanbase – you challenge other teams and accept challenges from other teams, enter your own results and wait for the opponent and staff to confirm them. You can play as little or as much as you want – once a week, once every two weeks, or 7 days each week; the choice is yours. The team with the highest score at the end of the summer will become the official winner of the cup, but the main goal is to HAVE FUN.

To freshen things up for the summer, we decided to give you a chance to play different gametypes and different maps. Therefore, each week has an assigned theme – a specific gametype and a specific set of maps. There will be three weeks of CTF, one week of Bomb mode, one week of TDM and one week of TS. Matches can be played in both regular and custom maps.

Also, unlike before, we are accepting American teams too. So, don’t wait and sign up, it’s time to start killing each other again.

The First Cup Week is themed THE DESERT AND THE JUNGLE – capture the flag - and it can start for you the minute you sign up! (Well, right after your signup is approved, to be precise )  You can find us at http://www.urban-zone.org/cup/ and in irc.quakenet.org in #urban-zone .

Wanted to notify you guys that signups are still open, we are currently in week one of the cup and have a nice collection of different clans, two from the US and even one from Argentina.
So if your interested in playing different gamemodes and a whole range of clans, don't hesitate and join up!

If you haven't signed up yet, here's your chance Sign ups are open all through the duration of the cup (still 4 and half weeks to go). We've already got 22 teams competing but we're always ready for more. You can play as much or as little as you want/can, all you need is 5 players.

The summer cup has ended, and Season 4 of the regular CTF Urban-Zone league has started.

Your best bet would be to find a clan currently playing in it, and see if they have need for you.
