Playing Quake 3 on Mac Rate Topic: -----

Hey Apple newbie here!! I just got my New PowerBook G4 and I have a legal copy of Quake 3 Arena @ 1.30 rev. It was the Gold series with Team Arena included. Will that work with my PowerBook or do I need a specific version of Quake 3 Arena? It didnt say anything in the readme.

Next question which may be even dumber. Do I even need Quake 3 Arena to play Urban Terror on a Mac?

Yes. You need Quake 3 Arena to play Quake 3 Arena mods...

Eh, yes I did, you need the 1.32 pr of Q3A

Thanks Road Kill but I meant will My Copy that I have work with OSX along with 1.32. Or do I need to purchase a Specific Version. I remember they had like a tin boxed version of Quake 3 awhile ago. But it’s ok because I found my answer on a MAC forum of all places. Go figure.

Ah, no, you don't need to buy anything as long as you have a legit copy of Q3A already. Just dl the 1.32 pointrelease and yer set to go :)
