Hey there, a few players from the competetive american clans were talking today and we thought it would be nice to see the return of flashbangs.
We're pretty sure they were removed because of their abuse in public servers by people who want to be mean/ dont know better so we figured you guys could do a few things to get around that.
First, make flashes a seperate weapon, so they can be disabled by server admins without turning off all nades.
Next make them only available for matchmode games.
Make them only available for ctf "i was told people flashing their team at spawn in ts was a problem"

Well since 3.6 and the new NVG flashbangs IMO have a new and important reason to come back!
We have played some CTF wars after 3.6 and 50% or more of the opponent used NVG and smoke... IMO way to high a %!
NVG are to easy to use and a flashbang would be very effective vs players and clans using NVG and smoke.
Now all you can do is to use the NVG your self...
I say lets get the flash back or make the NVG less easy to use!

Oh goody... lets all do the stumbling round blind dance cause we've been flashbanged back into the last millenium again.
Flashbangs were dropped for bloody good reason, they were abused way too often and the blind dance is about as fun as watching paint dry...
And arguing that you need flashes to counter negevs makes zero sense... if they are using smoke they likely have NVG's and that makes your flashes effective only against your OWN people. Facing Negev and Smoke? That's what the HK is PERFECT for (stationary targets make nice nade fodder...)
