This is the equipment I'm using:
IBM x40
Intel Chipset
Intel Centrino Processor 1300 MHz
Intel Extreme Graphics Card (128 Mb)
1.2 Gb RAM
I used to play fine in Windows XP, with the exceptions that processor heated up too much. So I decided stay with Linux (Fedora 9), but now happens that when I'm playing my gaming slows down too much.... so much that most of times I got stuck when moving sidewards. What can I do? Help will be appreciated!

I have been using this for awhile very helpful:
seta cg_brassTime "0"
seta cg_drawHands "0"
seta cg_gunsize "1"
seta cg_marks "0"
seta cg_marktotaltime "0"
seta cg_maxFragments "0"
seta cg_novoicechats "0"
seta cg_sfxbrasstime "0"
seta cg_sfxParticles "0"
seta cg_sfxSurfaceImpacts "0"
seta cg_sfxVisibleItems "0"
seta cg_visibleBleeding "0"
seta com_blood "0"
seta com_maxfps "125"
seta r_detailtextures "0"
seta r_dlightBacks "0"
seta r_dynamiclight "0"
seta r_ext_compressed_textures "1"
seta r_inGameVideo "0"
seta r_lodbias "2"
seta r_picmip "2"
seta r_roundImagesDown "2"
seta r_stencilbits "0"
seta r_texturebits "16"
bind x "cg_speedo 0;wait 10; cg_speedo 1"
seta cg_showbullethits "2"
You may need to mod this to your liking.
Just make blank text file name it [filename].cfg file put it in your q3ut4 directory and Run UrT. Open the console (~) and type /exec [filename].cfg
Or for it to run every time put it in your autoexec.cfg file (more ideal)
