This time theyre all dual proc setups up to 2.5 Ghz
so much for the 3.0 Ghz in 1 years time. I personally didnt think it would take this long to release a 2.5 Ghz. I also expected the base model to be the 2.0 Ghz and then have 2.25 ghz model to fill the gap to 2.5 Ghz. I
cant remember a lineup that had such an odd speed range.
Looks like theres a 256 Meg vid card available now.
3 PCI-X slots instead of one. plus theyve changed
the processor covers for better cooling.

anybody got $4.5k to give me so that i may get a 2.5 dual and a 23" flat screen? LOL
perhaps the delay on the 3.0 was cooling issue. who knows. now that they got that, maybe 3.0 in september? not sure why they would have gone 2.5 watercooled and not just try for 3.0.
look at it this way, the top of the line machines have gotten much better each substantial upgrade, and the pricing is remaining somewhat constant. i like that. i would like lower prices even better.
cant have it all.

Watercooling seems desperate...
but sure, i always thought that they've pushed the processors to little Squeeze every single mhz out of 'em!!!
And how come no better graphics? x800 or geforce 6800 would be nice... i guess Nvidia has abandoned mac totally..
They really need to launch a middle-entrylevel machine, like a single 2.0 ghz... that would be nice.
just gimme that 9600xt as a retail card ok?

About the vidcards. I think that most the people/companies that purchases mac's (the G5's) doesn't look for the topnotch vidcards but more for the amount of RAM you can stuff em with, firewireports and expansionslots. But yeah, it would be nice to see the top cards available for mac too.

I never even saw that. I wish theyd done that in the 1st place. 9 fans
can get pretty noisy in the middle of summer when theres no A/C
