Unfortunately missed the deadline for the speedmapping competition but here is my first map. It is a bit small but should be good play for 2v2 up to 4v4. Most game modes supported.

Just downloaded and had a go on it, and it seems quite nice. You got the size/scales quite good of rooms and doors and it doesn't feel 'too large' or 'too small'. Each room seem to have some sort of function, so you're onto something.
I like those fences as seen in the screenshot just above the gun.
I miss something between the walkable walls and the skybox. To make the map feel more realistic, you could add some areas around your map, but then have it clipped away from access. It makes more to the athmosphere than one could think.
Looking forward to see your next work =)

Hipshot for his skybox from http://www.zfight.com
Info

My first ever map so be gentle, entry in the October/November 2008 speed mapping contest.
Total time 3 days. I ran out of time before I could add extra models environment sounds.
Game Modes: CTF, Bomb, Survivor, TDM, CAH 2v2 up to about 4v4 but supports I think 12v12. FFA supports 8 if I remember right.
Restrictions
------------
You are welcome to use this as a base for other maps.
Thanks for the comments, Hopefully next time I will get to finish the map properly. There were a few shortcuts mainly because of time/learning cuve but getting there.

Yeah it turned out with some nice jumps, the tricky one is from blue to red across the waterfall face (1 pre-jump on the balcony, over the top of the laser and through the far corner of the waterfall jumping with your back to the wall and then keep looking right to clear the armory building). If you get it right you can go from flag to flag in about 5 seconds. But you are in the open.

There's a better hedge in this little map component I made a while back: http://www.clantriad...gonne_house.zip
