Hello people,

I want to introduce myself via this topic.

My name is Elvis, and I'm the main person coding the new z0rbot version.

I would like to request some feedback via this topic on what you would like to see added/changed etc to the current z0rbot and the way it operates.

Also I would like to say to american gamers. We can put z0rbot on enterthegame.com if there is any interest for this.

For more information see www.z0r.nl or #z0r.nl on quakenet.

It would be great to see a lot of feedback so the new version can be widely improved :)

Kind regards,
Elvis

Good job on the z0rbots. Really appreciate your service for our community!

Tho i wonder what's the reason for separating clanwar and practice-clanwar. Is this more mainly to separate ladder types of events (which might count as official) and just actually practice cw? Is this a replacement for off and uo with the old z0rbots?

The question is, does being connected to multiple irc servers really hurt the community?....doubtful. I idle in several channels spread over several servers and it isn't a problem for me. I fail to see the issue troubling the community. Also, I'm tired of this distinction between American gamers and European gamers. Can't we just enjoy the game?

Anyway, z0rbot looks pretty cool. I'm currently using some very poorly coded php of my own to search for players connected to servers in real time over irc....z0rbot looks much better than my shoddy code.

Elvis came through tonight and setup z0rbot on a whole bunch of channels on Gamesurge.  #TeamTHC , #Simplybeast , and #URTPUG to name a few.

GJ on the bot, it works great

It could be nice to extend the number of caracters we can put in a zorbot message, and reduce a little the time we have to wait between two requests. :)

Excellent stuff! Now IRC has become the place to find urbanterror scrims and clanwars; messages appears cross network. So South-American and Pacific clans ... get on IRC! Or try out this link for a web client to QuakeNet

z0r bot service available on QuakeNet, EnterTheGame and GameSurge.

Be sure to read their new command list on their homepage!
