When I open UT I hear the game music, but the whole screen is black.
I have already tried editing my configuration file so that the res is different. I have also tryed doing the same for full screen.
I have the latest graphic card drivers.
I have a gforce 4 MX series graphics card 512 MB ram and 2.08gh pross speed.
The game used to run fine until I reformated me pc.
I plead for help with solving this problem. All help is apresheited.

Try installing older drivers. Its known that newer nvidia drivers don't work terribly well with old graphics cards.
Try the ancient series (can't remember their exact number) - the latest one before they changed to call them nvidia drivers.
I think they were called nforce drivers.

When I've had issues, those drivers seemed to work the best.

Now it lags like crazy. I have everything on low and only gte about 30 frames per second and have max fps set to 125! I used to get on average 110fps!
