Dear All,

As you may or may not know, a master server is a central hub that populates your game server browsers and hence lets people know that your server is online and what IP to connect to. I reviewed the master servers that are in the default configuration file and found that 1/2 are dead.

master.urbanterror.net = Alive (US Continent based)
master2.urbanterror.net = Dead (unresponsive to ping, i can't personally query it)
master3.idsoftware.com = Dead (unresponsive to ping, i can't personally query it)

Therefore i have started a Urban Terror Master server in Europe. The address of the new server is:-

master.uaaportal.com:27950 - Which is the default port and not required.

To save everyone some time, taking the alive servers, and ordering them by what i see as priority, you can replace your master server configuration settings with the following code snippet.

We at the UAA hope that another master server in the pool will make sure that you can all find a place to game when you want to!

Nice but master.uaaportal.com seems to be down :

Note : ping probes are irrelevent to test thoses services as some of the master servers block ICMP traffic.

how many master servers can we set?...  like if i add 4 servers to the autoexec.cfg would they show up( thats 4 extra not just 4 lol)

Last I checked that is a hardcoded array of size 5. The array has the cvars sv_master1-5 pointing to it. If you really needed more you could change a couple lines and have as many more as you care to add.
