Urban Zone is opening signups for its second Summer Cup and you are all invited!

A week or so ago we brought Season 6 of our ctf league to a successful end with more than 70 teams finishing the season. For the first time, we hosted an Asia-Pacific Division and 10 divisions for European teams, and we want more of the exotic stuff, so - the Summer Cup is open for everyone. No divisions, no country or continent limitations, all teams are welcome.

All you need is a team of 5 or more people and you're ready to go. The cup operates on a "whoever plays the most wins" system, so the winner can be a real surprise (hint: your big chance ) Basically, your team can play as much or as little as you want and collect points along the way. Even losses give you one point, so you can never end up being the fool with 0 for a score

Summary:
- signups open all through the summer
- starting: July 13, 2009
- finishing: August 30, 2009
- gametype: ctf, ts, bomb, tdm, cah, ftl (your choice)
- maps: theme weeks with assigned maps for each week (standards and third party)
- requirements: 5+ players (your server is definitely a perk if you are picky about pings)

We now have 23 signups including 1 from the US and 1 from Turkey (no guys your not Japanese whatever your flag your playing under, Japanese people are much cooler than you ), anyway I'm sure there are more clans!

Week 1 of the cup is successfully behind us with more than 50 wars played in 6 days. Week 2 started today and we're playing Gragonne's and Queenbee's maps, in any team gametype. So far, more than 30 teams signed up to play, but we can handle a lot more, so if you are interested, join us at:

We are currently starting week 4 of the cup and we're playing the less frequently used standard maps this week. Like I said before, you can play any team gametype you want, your team can come from anywhere on this planet, you can play as much or as little as you want.
